How To Play Roulette

The game of Roulette originated in France, and the modern day layout we find in the casino dates back to 1842. You must purchase special roulette chips when you sit down to play roulette, and each player receives a different color chip. The chips are good for that table only and must be cashed in at the table when you are done playing. You cannot cash them in at the cage.
Each table has a minimum and maximum bet, and you cannot combine your inside and outside bets to meet the table minimum. There are several inside bets that you can make, including betting a number straight up or straddle the line between numbers to select a combination of numbers. The outside bets are made in the boxes surrounding the numbers. These bets can be red black odd and even which are all even money bets. You can also do a dozens bet which is made on 12 consecutive numbers, or column bets which are also 12 number bets.
